TOWN OF HOLDEN
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
HEARING
THOMAS & CAROL FERACO CASE NO. V1202
The Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on May 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA on the Petition of Thomas & Carol Feraco for property located at 12 Acorn Drive for a VARIANCE for relief from side yard setback requirements to allow for the construction of an addition.
Members in attendance: R. Spakauskas, R. Fraser, J. Deignan and R. Butler.
The Chairman called the meeting to order. Since there were no objections, the reading of the application and findings of fact was waived.
The applicant addressed the Board and gave an overview of the case. He would like to build an addition on the side of his house. However, the house is not parallel to the side lot line and tapers as you get closer to the front of the road.
The Board reviewed the plan and discussed the location of the breezeway.
Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was closed at 7:15 p.m.
The Board unanimously voted to approve the variance with the following condition: 1) The farthest right hand corner of the breezeway on the southerly side must be staked by a registered land surveyor six (6) feet +/- one (1) foot.
